Jordan M. Lewart, DMD, FICOI
A 1988 graduate of the Temple University School of dentistry, Dr. Lewart began practicing in the Orangeburg area in 1994. After practicing with other dentists, he established his own private practice, Orangetown Smiles in 1997.
Fellow of the ICOI
Dr. Lewart spent four years completing an extensive implantology program with NYU, ultimately becoming a clinical associate. By the close of his program, he attained Fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists — the highest level of recognition that a dentist can achieve.
In addition to being a general dentist with a special interest in dental implants, Dr. Lewart’s professional affiliations also include:
- The New York State Dental Association
- The Night District Dental Society
- The Hudson River Study Club
Implementing Life-Changing Technology in Everyday Dentistry
One of the things that makes Dr. Lewart unique is his affinity for implementing revolutionary technology at our Rockford County dental office. From iTero® 3D impressions to computerized dental implant surgery, our patients can enjoy precise, gentle care for everything from simple fillings to complex full mouth reconstruction procedures.
In his free time, Dr. Lewart enjoys hiking with his dogs. He and his wife, Bari, are the proud parents of their handsome son, Sam. When he isn’t hiking or practicing dentistry, Dr. Lewart stays busy playing the piano, guitar, and even keyboard in a 70s and 80s cover band! If weather allows, he also enjoys geocaching.
Our Team Members
Annette has been with our practice since it opened in 1994. As one who had dental anxiety as a child, she can relate to our patients’ fears and help ease their anxiety by talking with them in a relaxed, pressure-free setting. Annette loves working here because it has given her the opportunity to create personal friendships with our patients as well as the opportunity to get to know the wonderful people in our community.
Annette and her husband, Louis, are proud parents to Marissa, Joey (who is studying to be a chiropractor), and D.J. Annette’s spare time is filled with cooking, shopping, and having fun with her family and friends.
Ellen, Registered Dental Assistant
Ellen graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Her father was a dentist, and she is excited to move forward and follow in her father’s footsteps as a vital part of the dental field. During Ellen’s off time, she enjoys traveling, spoiling her dog, Simba, and volunteering at the Hudson Valley Humane Society. She also takes a special interest in making sure all of her patients are as excited as she is about their oral health. Her motto is, “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
